Personal Dedication
Make it personal, with a personalized message from you to the recipient to accompany your dedication.
View Your Star
View your star and message digitally at any time or from any place - by inputting your unique star pin into the Be a Star viewing interface.
Personal Certificate
Upon completion of purchase, you instantly receive a personalized digital Be A Star certificate to share with the recipient. You may also select to pickup a physical package or have a physical package mailed.
Tax Deduction
Receive a tax receipt for any Be a Star donation!
what’s included
MILKY WAY MOSAIC PROGRAM
This program includes all the benefits of the Be a Star program (as noted above) plus a 15" to 25" physical star on the Milky Way Mosaic. The star is mounted on a glass panel near the Skywalk at the Science Centre. The star can be engraved with a personal message or dedication.
Stars range from $2,500 to $15,000 depending on the size of the star.

1. What is the Be a Star program?
The Be a Star program is perfect for any gift giving occasion and also offers a lasting sentiment as a memorial or tribute. With each package you have the option to receive a digital package including a certificate of your star with a personalized message, unique star pin to see your star online, and a physical package which additionally contains a star map with details of your star.
2. How much does a Be a Star package cost?
Star donations prices range from $50 to $1000 with the magnitude of stars becoming stronger (brighter) as the donation amount increases.
3. How can I see the star that I purchased?
You can view your star by clicking here and typing in the unique star pin that you received in your confirmation email. You can also view your star by visiting the Be A Star kiosk at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton located across from our Box Office in the lobby.

5. Are Be a Star purchases tax deductible?
Yes, they are tax deductible with net proceeds supporting programming at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton. You will receive a tax receipt within a month of your Be A Star donation being made.
